Shohei Nakagawa (hereinafter referred to as "Developer") establishes the following privacy policy ("Policy") regarding the handling of privacy information in the "MyHappyTrack" application ("Service").
"Personal Information" refers to information that can identify a specific individual, such as name, address, phone number, or email address.
To provide, operate, and improve the Service, the Developer collects the following information:
The Service does not send or store activity records (routes, distance, duration, etc.) or location data on the Developer's servers. Such data is stored locally on the user's device or, via CloudKit, in the user's own iCloud account.
By tapping "Get started" on first launch, the user agrees to this Policy and consents to the sending of the usage data and crash information described above.
You can stop sending usage data at any time by turning off "Share Usage Data" under Settings > Privacy in the app. When turned off, usage data stored on the device is deleted, and no further usage data is sent or linked to your user ID. Crash information is sent regardless of consent in order to keep the app stable, but it is linked to your user ID only if you have consented.
The Service uses the following third-party services. These providers act as the Developer's processors and handle data in accordance with their own privacy policies. Because their servers are located outside your country (including in the United States), the collected information is processed abroad.
The Service uses the device's location data (GPS) to measure the route, distance, and duration of activities such as walking, running, and cycling. If background tracking is allowed, location data is also collected while the app is closed. Collected location data and activity records are stored only on the user's device or in the user's own iCloud account (CloudKit), and the Developer does not collect or view this data. Location access permission can be changed at any time in the device settings.
Collected information is used for the following purposes:
The Developer will not provide Personal Information to third parties without the user\'s consent, except as required by law and except for the processors listed under "Third-Party Services".
When a user requests disclosure, correction, or deletion of their Personal Information, the Developer will respond promptly within a reasonable scope.
This Policy may be changed without prior notice to users.
